The Wilmot Wolverines Atom A team took part in the Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge tournament.

In game one of the tournament the Wolverines welcomed goaltender Courtney Dejeu from the Wilmot Atom B team.  Courtney got the start in place of the Atom A teams goal tender who was out due to illness.

Dejeu allowed only one goal in the start as the team played to a 1-1 tie thanks to a goal by Jaden Greenlee (assisted by Leah McPhee and Neve Schweitzer).

In game two the Wolverines would face the Kitchener Lady Lady Rangers.  Maeve Turner and Hannah Ciesler were among the players recording points in this 2-0 game.  The defence of Tori Burchatzki, Sydney Henhoeffer, Jaden Greenlee and Taylor Miller and strong back checking by forwards like Lauren Leis helped keep Kitchener off the scoreboard.

The Wolverines faced the Huron Heat in game three.  Aziza Pringle was back in net for Wilmot ans Nyah Lewis scored the teams first goal as the team went onto a 3-1 win.  Wilmot skated to a 13-0 victory over South Huron in Game 4.  Raelyn Cook, Sarah Bell and Paige Yowarski were among the Wolverines that tallied points in this game.

The Wolverines would make it to finals following a 3-1 semi-final win over the Huron Heat.  The Atom A team has reached the finals in two of the three tournaments they have been in this season and they would skate to a 5-1 victory in this championship game.  This week the Atom A Wolverines return to their regular season schedule that has seen them go undefeated  to this point with a record of 9-0-1
