Atom LL2 look to extend their winning streak.
The Atom LL 2 team looks to extend their wining streak this Wednesday. On October 29th they faced the Guelph Jr. Gryphons 1 team at home. The Wolverines opened the scoring in the first period with a single goal and furthered their lead with another goal in the third. The team managed to defend their net securing the shutout.
The Grand River Mustangs 1 was the next team to visit Wilmot on November 5th. The game was filled with end to end action. The Wolverines managed to net one in the first and again, another insurance marker in the third. Strong defence and sharp goaltending secured a second shutout.
The Wolverines traveled to Cambridge to face the Roadrunners Teal team. The action packed game saw many shots on both ends. Determined effort from our Wolverines gained a third consecutive shutout and another win.
Point getters for these games were Julianna Baptie, Tori Wagler, Alexandra Dubrick, Tatjana Knezevic, Kristen Segeren and Lola Bradshaw. Earning the shutouts were Lola Bradshaw and Lila Funston.
