Game 6 at Home
Submitted By Christine Honderich on Wed 02 22, 17
The Wolverines faced off against the Central Perth Royals at home after a two week lay off from hockey. Baker was in net despite being a bit under the weather but played a great game. The team came out fast and hard, scoring on our second shift with a goal by Kirsten Bolding assisted by Abigail Zalac. Central Perth came back to tie it up shortly after. However the girls kept on digging and forechecking and Bolding scored her second of the game with assists by Rachel Gruhl and Ravynn Livy. The game was 2-1 at the end of the first. The second period both teams were held scoreless. In the third the Wolverines lit it up with Bolding scoring her third goal assisted by Ravynn Livy.

The fourth goal was scored by Alana Miller and assisted by Emma Caswell. The fifth goal was score by Ella Fleming and assisted by Victoria Clark. The Wolverines won 5-1. Way to go girls! Their next game is Friday night in Kitchener against the Lady Rangers at 6:15. Good luck! They also play Saturday at home against Stratford.
