The Second Half of the Season Begins
The girls faced off against the Ayr Rockets to kick off the second half of the season. With two great tournament showings under their belts the team was ready to show they intend to be in the top 4 this half of the season. Latyn was in net at our home rink. Ayr started off the scoring late in the first to lead 1-0. The Wolverines came out strong in the second with some nice passing, hustle and team work to tie it up with a goal by Victoria Clark, assisted by Ella Fleming. Both teams were determined to score again and there were several great chances however the game ended in a tie. Way to go Wolverines! Our next game is this Saturday in Milverton at 11:00 am against Central Perth.
