Peewee BB Wolverines start Provincial Play Downs with a Tie.
Submitted By Jeremy Cook on Wednesday, February 11, 2015
The Wilmot Wolverines Peewee BB team followed up a strong showing at this weekend’s Devilette’s tournament with an equally strong game against Cambridge on Tuesday.  The team traveled to Cambridge Centre Mall for game one of their provincial play downs. The team had many offensive chances to start the game including a possible goal that was called off by the officials.  Cambridge would strike first making it 1-0 in the second period.  The Wolverines continued the offensive pressure and it paid off with the tying goal from Julia Kehl with the assist going to Marley O’Connell.   The game would end a 1-1 tie.  For post-game comments from Julia Kehl and Kate Baumgart click here.

The Wolverines will next see action in Woolwich on Monday.
