The team has had a slow start trying to get into the win column. But they are showing some great attitude and determination. They are improving every game, period and shift they are playing. They are bringing some very exciting hockey to the rink.
The girls as a team were given two different challenges today. And, already they are working together to achieve the goal of these challenges.

First Team Challenge
Get more than 25 shots on goal during the game. (The girls tend to shoot the puck away quickly when they get it. This way hopefully they will think more about their shot and shoot it more on the goal) :)
Reward: Coach Tim has offered a pizza party to the team sometime after the first game when they get more than 25 shots on net.
Second Team Challenge
Get the puck out of the corner, pass it to your team mate in front of the goal and SCORE!
Reward: Coach Rod has offered a slushy for the team when they do this.
