Game One Under Belt
The Wilmot Wolverines Atom C team has a win in the column in Provincial play downs as they defeated the Woolwich Wild 3-0 this past week. The Wolverines are in a round robin rotation and the top team will head to Ottawa in April.
The game was fast-paced and the girls worked hard to provide many scoring opportunities. Tia DeRuiter got things started in the first as she potted a shot. Avery Vance on defense and Brianna Arends were the other goal scorers for Wilmot. Alisha Latyn secured another shut-out and was focused in the game. Great hustle from Arends, Leah Wagler and Carson Weiler. The Wolverines will take on Brantford this Saturday.
