Rookie Games - Things to Know
Rookie Games are fun games played against another centres Fundamentals group of players.
Please arrive 30 minutes before the game so we can be prepared in time. The players will receive Wolverine jerseys to be returned at the end of the game.
Typically there is a 5 minute warm-up and then 5 players and a goalie line-up for a face-off and each shift is 2 minutes with a buzzer signalling change. The goalie for the shift plays out in the next shift unless a player wants to play the position for a longer period of time. We normally rotate this position. Face-offs take place at centre after a goal is scored normally.
Goals and the score are not posted on the clock. The point is to have fun in a game environment.
