Playoff Game #7
What a fantastic game by your Bantam H/L Wolverines who cruised out to a two goal lead through the first two periods. Goals by Katie K from Simran and Jessica started us off on the right foot. Ashley in the slot took a laser of a pass from Kira in the corner to post us ahead by two.
In the third, the Kitchener Mustang's fought back hard and slipped one by Jillian with 5 minutes to go. Your Wolverines continued to show the grit and tenacity of the past several week's, holding off the Mustangs as they sent wave after wave into our end.
Some handstand goal tending by Jillian kept us in the game, when with only 2 seconds left on the clock, the Mustangs won the draw deep in our end and a blast from the point deflected in off of several bodies to tie it up.
Way to go Wolverines who remain undefeated over the past three games! We are slowing but surely moving up the standings! Stay tuned for an exciting finale!
