This week in hockey...
Hello Parents / Players,
Wow! What a great afternoon we spent with the Laurier Goldenhawks!
The afternoon was certainly well spent today watching the Laurier team beat Queen's in a great game. The girls participated in the off-ice pre game warm up. Taylor and Cassie P were chosen to participate in the 1st period shoot out and did Wilmot proud! And the whole team had an opportunity to ask a question to the players in the post-game chat with the laurier girls. There are some great role models out there for our girls!
A huge thank you to Jen for organizing this entire event! THANK YOU!
A busy couple weeks ahead...this Wednesday we are hosting Waterloo Ravens at the WRC. There will be no dryland training after any game.
Picture Night November 8 which I added to our team calendar.
November 9 will be our next off-ice training.
Cassie Schmidt has asked each of the girls to bring in one embarrassing photo they have of themselves and give it to her...she is working on something for the team.
