Atom B Wolverines Playoff Update
The past six weeks have seen the Atom B Wolverines compete in the LLFHL Playoffs,  as well as an eight game round robin series for the Provincial Playdowns. After a lot of nailbiter games, the girls have advanced to the Provincial Finals Tournament in mid April, and have earned the right to face the Grand River Mustangs in the LLFHL Atom B finals.

The Wolverines have been playing a very aggressive style of hockey and thrive on putting pressure on the opposition. Tight team defense and a balanced scoring attack have become the trademarks of this team. In LLFHL play, the Wolverines swept North Halton in two games by scores of 1-0 and 2-1, then did the same to their nemisis, the Waterloo Ravens , winning by scores of 1-0 and 3-1. This sets up what should be a great final series against Grand River. The teams have played twice during the season with both games ending in tie scores.

Matched up against Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and Woolwich for the Provincial Playdowns Round Robin, the Wolverines came out strong winning the first four games of the eight game round robin. After suffering their first playoff loss in nine games against the Cambridge Road Runners , the girls fought back with a win over Kitchener and a tie against Cambridge to punch their ticket to the Provincial Finals Tournament in Toronto.

Great job so far Wolverines !!!  Keep playing hard !!!
