Wilmot Wolverines Team Staff Certification Requirements



Below is a list of requirements/information that must be submitted to the Director of Staff Certification by:
       · October 1st for rep teams, or
       · November 1st for local league teams.


If any of these requirements are not provided to the Director of Staff Certification by the above date, the applicable team staff member is not permitted on the bench or the ice until the requirement is met and approved by us.

Other Requirements

For Rep only: Two years’ experience as a member of a hockey coaching staff (i.e. head coach or asst. coach)

 

Must be female




 

- must be 14yrs and older**

- minimum 2 year age gap between the "On-Ice Helper" and the oldest player on the team

 


* Speak Out is grandfathered in as an equivalent for the Respect in Sport Activity Leader/Coach Program. However, completion of the Speak Out program does not cover Respect in Sport for Parents.

Once a team staff member has been accepted to a team:
1. all team staff must register with the OWHA on RAMP using the following link:
    
RAMP Registration

2. ALL certifications must be added to RAMP registration

3. Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Check must be scanned and uploaded to RAMP
