Goalie Initiative Rebate Application Form 2022-2023
Please read the following details and eligibility criteria:
In an attempt to increase interest in goaltending within our association and to improve our ability to develop and retain goalies, the Wilmot Wolverines are implementing the Wolverines Goalie Initiative.

Reduction in fees

1.  A 75% reduction in the registration fee (given as a rebate at the end of the season) for a WGHA player new to the goalie position or any full-time new goalie to the WGHA. New goalies to the WGHA or WHGA players new to the position must have played a minimum of 20 games or 80% of games during the season to be eligible for a refund.

2.  A 50% reduction in your registration fee (given as a rebate at the end of the season) for any WGHA goalies who were registered as a goalie with WGHA in the previous season.

3.  To qualify for the rebate full participation in practices, development sessions, games, and scrimmages is required.

4.  Games played with other teams may count towards required games on a case-by-case basis.

5.  To receive the rebate, goalies must apply during initial registration and receive approval from the WGHA Executive.

6.  If the player moves into the goalie position throughout the season, they may qualify for a rebate as well and should connect with the WGHA Executive to further discuss.

7.  Rebates will be issued at the end of the season once approved by the WGHA Executive.

8.  If a team has two goalies rostered, players should consult with the Head Coach and WGHA Executive to confirm ice time in games for eligibility of rebate
