What a fantastic game by your Bantam H/L Wolverines who cruised out to a two goal lead through the first two periods. Goals by Katie K from Simran and Jessica started us off on the right foot. Ashley in the slot took a laser of a pass from Kira in the corner to post us ahead by two.

BREAKING NEWS- The Wilmot Girls Hockey Association is excited to announce that registration for this year’s GIRLS GOT GAME Summer Hockey Camp is now OPEN. This camp will feature an elite line up of instructors: Hockey Canada’s Jim Fetter, The University of Guelph Head Coach Rachel Flanagan, and Allison Rutledge a coach from the NCAA’s Robert Morris University.

The camp, open to all Wolverines players as well as players from other centres, will be held at the Tavistock & District Recreation Centre July 23, 2012 to July 27, 2012.

Registration is limited and is first come, first serve. Places will be given priority to Wolverine players until the end of the day Friday, March 3rd, 2012. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY!

The Wilmot Wolverines send a special THANKS to Domino's Pizza for a fantastic feast! Thanks to Team Trainer Jackie Currah, who arranged the party through her Domino's connection. The celebration included recognition of the January Challenge 50 Shots-A-Day Sharp Shooters: 1st Place Emylea; and runners-up Madison, Hannah, Cassie and Leeta.

The pizza was delicious and the party and team-time were excellent. With support like this we all feel like winners. A BIG WOLVERINE THANK YOU to Domino's Pizza.

Bantam HL - Sweetheart Tournament Day #1. Truculence and Tenacity

Your Bantam H/L Wolverines ride into Stoney Creek on a two game undefeated streak, coming off their most dominant performance of the season, a 4-0 shut out of the Grand River Mustangs.
Game one placed the Wolverines up against the Stoney Creek Sabres Bantam minor team, in what turned out to be an evenly matched affair. Though Stoney Creek struck first, the Wolverines never give up attitude persevered with a tally in the third after some great D to D passing between Ryan Denison that led to a blast by Jessica Watson that was redirected in by winger Suzy Vukovic. That goal would secure the Wolverines first point of the tournament.
